Welcome to episode 333 of The Podcast
Today's episode is a very exciting one. And it's a tick off the bucket list.
I recently got to chat with the amazing Claire Johnston from Mango Groove Fame.
I get to know Claire's career on a deeper level, and we talk about the days when she just joined the band at a young age of 17, what she saw and learnt, including things like Apartheid, racism, and even not being allowed to play in some venues.
We also talk about South Africa growing for the better and Mango Groove almost being the soundtrack for that growth
We also talk about some of he old classics like Special Star and Dance Some More.
We also talk about two shows the band is playing at, including one this S14 on February 4th.
